Capture your WhatsApp history in minutes so Lucen can decode pacing, tone, and red flags—without touching your phone backup.

WhatsApp's own official guide →iPhone (iOS) export steps
Open the chat
Launch WhatsApp, open the conversation, tap the contact name, and scroll to “Export Chat.”
Choose media preference
Select “Without Media” when you plan to upload to Lucen—our analyzer only needs the text file. Feel free to create a second export with media for your personal records.
Send the export
Share the .zip/.txt via AirDrop, Files, or Mail. Save it locally and upload directly to Lucen.
Android export steps
Open the chat menu
Tap the three dots → More → Export chat.
Pick media option
Choose “Without Media” for the file you’ll send to Lucen (media isn’t processed). Create another export with media if you want to keep a complete archive.
Save the file
WhatsApp creates a .zip containing a .txt file. Save it to Google Drive, Files, or email it to yourself for upload.
Quick alternatives
- Record a quick screen capture scrolling through the conversation.
- Upload stitched screenshots—Lucen’s OCR keeps timestamps aligned.
- Paste a manual recap if the chat was deleted (include date hints).
Pre-upload checklist
- Keep your phone charged and on Wi-Fi for large exports.
- Rename the export with initials so you can find it later.
- Delete the export from email/cloud once you upload to Lucen for extra privacy.
